Reiki Courses
If you are intested in learning to either self-administer Reiki, or to become a practitioner to administer to others, Reiki Flow conducts courses for Level 1, Level 2 and Master Level Certification. As Terril is Registered and Insured as a Reiki Master and Teacher with the Association of Australian Reiki Practitioners (ARC), you too will be able to obtain membership with this Registering Body, should you intend to offer your services to clients. This is a consideration if you want to obtain Public Liability Insurance and conduct your own Reiki Practice.

Reiki Level I - Self Practice
Reiki Level I is your initiation to Reiki Energy. We all innately posses the ability to self-heal and can naturally 'tap' into the energy of healing. It's a very natural inclination to place our hands on ourselves or loved ones to ease discomfort and pain in an act of compassion. This action precipitates a myriad of responses, such as relaxation, and enhances the chemistry of self-healing. The Level I course attunes you specifically to the the modality of Reiki. If you scientifically consider energy as a frequency or wave, the attunement process (as the word 'attunement' suggests) is merely adjusting your dial to this particular state of intention and allowance so that you may resonate these teachings and this energy in particular. The attunement is formally referred to a Reiju, and is a ritual that was practiced and handed down, 'hand-to-hand', by Reiki's Japanese Founder, Dr Mikao Usui.

Our teaching methodolgy at Reikiflow is very much in accordance with Traditional Eastern teachings, and so this course includes the often overlooked component of the Traditional Meditation Techniques taught and practiced by Dr Usui. Our courses are overseen by the Australian governing body, The Association of Australian Reiki Practitioners (AARP), and upon completion, you too may gain membership with this Association.
Reiki is a way of life. It is not a religion, but a spiritual pursuit of self-betterment, and the intention of self-healing is merely part of the process. There is no heavy and involved dogma as you may see in institutionalised religion, only the recommendation to follow five simple Precepts. The addition of the Precepts to your day creates the arena of Mindfulness Practice as a way of life, and simple meditation practices enhance your well-being and improve the quality and sense of peace you experience on a daily basis.
Reiki is a very simple, yet profoundly (and often surprisingly!) simple system that implements healing and change at your very core. Moreover, while you can continue to add additional techniques to your practice via Level II and III courses, like any seed, the Level I connects you to the essential nature of Reiki, and as such may be all the tools you need for your complete spiritual path.

Reiki Level II - The Practitioner Level
Reiki Level II is the Practitioner Level. Those who embark on this level have developed a love of Reiki practice, and are seeking to deepen their practice and awareness. Upon completion, the participant can 'formally' provide treatments. Given our course is accredited training, registration with the Australian governing body, The Association of Australian Reiki Practitioners (AARP), is obtainable for those wishing to offer their services professionally.
Spiritually, Level II is really a deep dip into the sea of Reiki. Students familiarise themselves with both the Symbols offered to heighten awareness and connection, and to the Chanting of Mantras and associated meditations. A greater focus on meditation with The Precepts explores the element of mindfulness in a more amplified way, and areas of our lives that may require attention or adjustment become more evident. Our relationship to self-awareness and betterment may just simply be enrichened. Many course participants often report a hugely transformational and life-changing experience, and continue to intensify their work post course.

Reiki Level III - The Master Level
Reiki Level III is the Master/Teacher Level. Those who embark on this level have developed a daily self-practice as a minimum, have perhaps been working as a practitioner (although that is not essential) and have been attuned to Reiki for 12 months. Level III is a 'calling' and those who undertake this training have a vested interest in and love for Reiki. The participant may also be seeking to significantly elevate their connection and practice. Upon completion, the participant can formally teach Reiki Classes. Given our course is accredited training, registration with the Australian governing body, The Association of Australian Reiki Practitioners (AARP), is obtainable for those wishing to offer their services professionally. A format for teaching classes is given, along with permission to purchase and use Reikiflow Manuals for the conduction of classes.
Spiritually, Level III is the culmination of all that has been learned thus far, with the addition of the Master Symbol. More esoteric teachings are also included in this Level, and are additional tools for self and/or treatments. More advanced techniques for various treatment modalities, including psychic surgery and other methods, are taught. The participants learn to attune others to Reiki energy, and different Reiju techniques are provided. This course is conducted in an intimate group, and numbers are limited to four participants.
As with Level II, many course participants often report a hugely transformational and life-changing experience, and continue to intensify their work post course, possibly facilitating the phenomenon that is Reiki and carrying on the tradition in the hand-to-hand delivery of this amazing gift. Only one Master Level each year is currently being held by Terril.
